Presently, Indian schools are celebrating various type of events throughout the year. Grand Parents Day celebration is one them. It's a very good move of Schools who are celebrating this to pay respect and love to the Grand Parents of the students. Basically, I have seen this type of celebration happen in the English Medium Schools. Like, DPS, DAV etc. schools. I think this type of events they inherit from the foreign country's schools.
Recently, I visited a DPS School in Odisha, India and watch this celebration closely. I have seen here students performances. Seen their dance performance with lovely Bollywood tunes, Recitation, Plays etc. and side by side seen interesting game performance of the Grand Parents. They played Musical Chair, Catching Balls, Quiz etc.
I really feel very very proud to see this type of celebration in a school compound. Hope this type of event will celebrate all of the Indian Schools in near future.
